U.S residential generated the most food waste in the U.S. The most wasteful food category being vegetables and fruits. Two-thirds of food waste at home caused by food not being used before it goes bad. One of the reasons caused this two-thirds of food waste is food being improper storage. FFF series would focus on how to solve storage food improperly issue by designing kitchen goods with storage functionality and decorative. By integrating traditional, scientific, and biological knowledge and methods into the design, help consumers to efficiently and conveniently store food properly, and keep food last longer at home.

Medium: resin, silicone

FLIPPY contains eye lotion and soft silicone containers which could become a finger cot to avoid eye infection. The delicate silicone parts let the users scrub the contact lens without physically touching the contact lens to clean the lenses.

Graphic and visual design for blue willow. Blue willow is a Hunan cuisine restaurant located at 40 W 56th St, New York City. The restaurant’s decoration and design style focus on 1920’s China. . The graphic and visual design emphasis on vintage and classic old Chinese style.

Kyuramen is a Japanese restaurants with over 20 franchised stores over united state.They appreciated the design style cooperate modern and traditional Japanese aesthetic style.

Medium: glass blowing, copper wire

This design's name is bubble kaleidoscope. Using the glass blowing skill to blow out the fish tank with organic shapes, each protruding space like a bubble shape creates a different compartment for the fish tank. It provides appealing entertainment about watching fish swimming in the fish tank. When fish swimming, the refraction of the glass will show different patterns and colors by looking from different angels like a kaleidoscope. Let the owners enjoy every action of the fish in the fish tank to enhance the engagement of pet fish and owners.

Wabi Sabi style coffee table. Simply use the natural materials : wood and rock to make the coffee table. Shows the side of imperfection and the roughness of the unique and natural furniture.

The flat pouch bag bottle is reusable and more sustainable from the perspective of manufacturer and materials cost. Heat sealing the bottle to divide the product into 3 portions. Easy to manufacture and the materials cost is less than 3 plastic bottles. It;s easy to store and carry, saving more space for traveling. Provide a better and a new user experience of the traveling bottle sets.

Hipposaurs - toy characters design. Why hippo and dinosaur? No why, just combine two of my favorite creatures as the design elements.

The soft light and squeeing action can calm the anxiety of the user and becomes the starting point for this lighting design. The lighting refracted through the edge of the silicone, which makes the light less harsh. And the soft touch of the silicone allows the user to interact with the lighting so that the wall light is no longer just a wall light, but a new medium that enables the user to press. Enhance the relationship between the product and users. By squeezing the silicone, the user can reduce and release their anxiety. The transparent silicone deliberately shapes the illusion of glass or plastic, the solid materials. It is a surprising feeling when the users found out it is soft and squeezy. It's also the design focus of this lamp to give the user a surprise experience.

The Caterpillar is an automatic rope climbing gimal that will change the game of rockclimbing videography. It incorporates the use of static lines, which are currently used 􀁕􀀏􀀃climbers no longer need a cameraperson. Instead, they can just secure the end of thestatic line to the ground, attach their Caterpillar, and start climbing.

The subject locking gimbal software allows the GoPro to automatically pan to capture any sudden movement or falls. The 3-axis gimbal can move the camera 360 degrees along all 3 axes, so the climber can climb under, over, and all around the static line. The anti-snag surface allows the Caterpillar to move over any type of obstacle. Rocky overhangs and vegetation are no match for the surface bumper wheels that keep the Caterpillar moving.

When you brush your teeth in the bathroom, 33 helps you draining your toothbrush and tooth cups, so you don’t have to worry about cleaning the deposited water and scale.

Just like rainwater to moisten the earth, the extra gray water in our life can irrigate another green ecosystem. 33 brings the natural into our bathroom and offering the bathroom a sense of verdant, refreshing the air in the bathroom as well.

The design of the Still seat reflects the changes which occurred in my mood after my grandfather's death. Over time, my mood shifted from one of denial to one of acceptance. With this seat, users can change between different seating configurations as their mood strikes them. Do you believe in the soul? Although you can not see people's souls after their passing, I think that they still exist. They appear in different forms in our surroundings, and like warm sunshine, they continue to accompany us. With this design, I hope to catch dispersing light, as if I had seen the presence of my grandfather.

Our pulse is invisible, but it is the reason why we can live. It is so intimately related to us. Through the Pulse Painter, we want to transform our pulse from invisible into visible. When the green light lights on, it means the Painter is not reading the data now. Therefore, people could put their finger on the pulse sensor to detect the pulse through the finger. In the pulse sensor, there are several different data which control the different angles, speed, and direction of the step motors. Depending on each person's different pulse, the brush would have diverse movements. Pulse Painter would draw different patterns, and just like each person is unique in the world, the drawing patterns would also be different.

Shadow play is a traditional and ancient art in Chinese culture. I am using the light to project the shadow of the objects to play a show, and it is wisdom from our ancestors. I extracted the principle of the shadow play and applied to my design. In my light design, I want to present the playful and childlike element between shadow and light.

Blush & Bloom is an innovative paper packaging designed specifically for blush cosmetics. Unlike the conventional plastic packaging that dominates the market and contributes significantly to environmental waste, Blush & Bloom offers a sustainable alternative. Made from recycled paper embedded with seeds, this packaging transforms into a plant or flower after the product is used. Simply plant the packaging, water it, and watch it grow. The type of plant or flower is indicated by the prints on the packaging, adding an element of surprise and interaction for users. This eco-friendly approach not only reduces plastic waste but also provides a rewarding, nature-friendly experience, ensuring that beauty routines contribute positively to the environment instead of generating more plastic trash.
